ARVADA RIFLE & PISTOL CLUB

Air pistol silhouette is an indoor version of a shooting competition where the goal is to hit and knock over metal cutouts of chickens, pigs, turkeys and rams.

Course of fire: targets are set up in groups of five of each kind. Chickens are the smallest and closest target, rams are the largest and furthest target. Participants have 2 1/2 minutes to knock over each of the five targets, in sequential order.  There are 8 relays in a match and the highest score is 40.

Participants are allowed to use any kind of air pistol, with or without a scope.  Handicaps will be established to level the field. 

Mondays starting at 4:00 PM in the Silhouette Range.  This league has a maximum of 16 shooters.  Please contact Jane or Mike Mowbray for information regarding the next start date and to be placed on the wait list.
